The Austin Air HealthMate is the right choice for 1) someone with an especially large room that requires an air purifier, or 2) someone particularly focused on odor control.  For either of those two functions, it is the most effective air purifier we've found.  It also comes in at a very reasonable price.  It is a true hospital grade air purifier, and as such it doesn't have all of the consumer-friendly features some other models boast.  Still, it offers three settings of power and a reasonable quiet operation, especially on the lowest level.  The wheels can be useful if it will be moved frequently.  For someone with an extremely large room or focused on odor control, the HealthMate is the right model to buy.
