The Cotton Supreme Dust Mite Cover provides 100% allergen protection. No allergen of any kind can penetrate the AllerTech Control membrane. The polyester knit fabric which is laminated to the membrane has a very soft, cotton-like feel. The Satin Safe Dust Mite Cover uses the same technology of adhering a fabric to the allergen-proof membrane. The main difference between the two is that the fabric used in the Satin Safe Dust Mite Cover has been engineered to look and feel like satin, while the fabric used in the Cotton Supreme Dust Mite cover has been engineered to look and feel like cotton. We have found that the cotton style is the more popular of the two. The AllerTech Control membrane is real advance over previous, less breathable membranes. It allows water vapor to pass through (though not water in liquid form). This keeps you cool and comfortable while asleep. The Cotton Supreme also provides the great convenience of being washable in hot water and it can be dried in the dryer. It can withstand years of use without losing its great feel. Recommended.
