    • The Eva-Dry Compact Dehumidifier is ideal for dehumidifying very small spaces. If the space is too large, or is very high in humidity, some people find that they need to renew the unit every week or even more frequently. In this case, the more powerful Eva-Dry 500 is more appropriate. Even so, renewing the unit merely means plugging it in, as there is no reservoir to empty. Many people place them in small cases containing camera or other moisture sensitive equipment. Others place them in fire-proof safes. Another very popular use is as a closet dehumidifier, particularly storage closets. To spend $18.95 to protect the value of their clothing is an investment many people find worthwhile. Some people have complained that it is difficult to use the color system to determine when to renew the unit, though most find it works adequately. The Eva Dry 300 is recommended for spaces up to the size of a closet. The Eva Dry 500 is recommended for rooms up to 250 sq. ft. or very humid smaller spaces.
